Parking
Parking is FREE and available in the YELLOW, RED and BLUE lots at the Oregon Renaissance Faire. ADA parking is available in all lots on a first come, first served basis. The Yellow lot is closest to the main entrance.
Accessibility
The Faire is held at the Clackamas County Fair & Event Center on primarily grassy fields; ground condition is VERY dependent on the weather.
Guests with power chairs/scooters have had little difficulty navigating the site and those with walkers/canes should have minimal difficulty. However, those with manual chairs may need assistance with pushing in some areas. Our staff and security are constantly roaming the site and are there to help!
ADA Seating is available at all performance stages.
We do not offer wheelchair, scooter or wagon rentals onsite at this time.

Can I bring pets to the festival?
Clackamas County Fairgrounds allows service animals only. Please see the ADA guidelines for Service Animals for Reference.
What is the festival’s policy regarding inclement weather? Will performances be moved indoors in the event of rain?
Are there age restrictions or guidelines for bringing children?
Anyone under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the Faire.

Can I leave and re-enter the festival grounds during the day?
What security measures are in place at the festival?
The Oregon Renaissance Faire has a professional Security and Medical Team on call at all times at the event venue. If you find yourself in need of Security or Medical assistance go to the Main Entrance Gate. Bags, strollers and wagons are subject to search prior to entry.
No modern weapons of any kind are allowed on site during WITP events. Period weapons (swords/daggers/flint locks/etc) are allowed as part of costumes and as props. Please do not draw your period weapon while inside of the event areas including parking areas. All period weapons should be peace tied or zip tied to the sheath.
Who produces the Oregon Renaissance Faire?
Oregon Renaissance Faire is a part of the Wandering In Time Productions universe of events, which also produces the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire (held for 5 weeks in late July/August in Snohomish, WA).
Is smoking allowed at the festival?
Smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas only; step outside the Green Gate to smoke or vape.
Remember that summers are dry in the Pacific Northwest and lighted tobacco can cause fires.
Marijuana consumption is not legal in public places in Oregon state.
Is drinking water available at the festival to refill reusable water bottles?
There are several free, filtered water refill stations available throughout the Faire grounds. Remember to bring your own empty reusable water bottle!
Can I bring camera equipment to the Faire?
You are more than welcome to film the event as long as the project is not to be released for profit. School projects or personal vlogs are acceptable, but anything being published through a media outlet or with intent to profit would need further permission as well as model release forms from everyone included.
For personal projects – please be sure to remain respectful to performers, staff, vendors and guests while shooting. You may not access performance stages while performances are happening, and should not interrupt a show while filming. Always ask for consent before photographing or recording individuals at the Faire, especially guests under the age of 18.

What types of Entertainment can I expect at the faire?
The Oregon Renaissance Faire offers a vibrant array of entertainment that immerses you in the spirit of the era. Expect thrilling jousting tournaments, lively musical performances spanning folk, traditional, and contemporary styles, and captivating theatrical shows.
Meet the King and noble court, along with other enchanting characters from the Vale of Dunrose, who will weave their stories and charm throughout the festival. Our talented street performers, jesters, and artisans provide engaging experiences for all ages, ensuring a magical celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

What kind of kid’s activities are available at the Faire?
Is there seating available? Can I bring my own chair(s) or a blanket to sit on?
If you choose to bring your own chair, please be considerate of other guests also trying to watch the shows and do not place a high-backed chair in front of a low row of seating.
Can I bring a weapon that is part of my costume?
Are costumes/garb required?
Please remember that ORF is a family friendly event and all costumes must be appropriate for all ages.

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to bring their own food/snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in factory-sealed containers. Outside alcohol is not allowed inside the festival gates.
Are there food vendors onsite?
Are there options for vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free folks?
Yes! Please check with individual vendors regarding dietary restrictions, allergens, and substitution options.
What alcohol is available onsite? What is an “Ale House”?
Yes! A variety of alcoholic beverages, including beer, mead, wine and spirits will be available for sale throughout the festival. Ale Houses are the lively and convivial gathering places at the heart of the Oregon Renaissance Faire. The Ale Houses are designed to capture the essence of Renaissance culture, offering festival-goers a welcoming spot to relax, socialize, and enjoy a variety of drinks.
