1. Contest Overview

1.1 The Facebook Ticket Giveaway for the Limerick Writing Contest (“Contest”) is organized by The Oregon Renaissance Faire (“Organizer”). By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States of America, aged 18 years or older as of the date of entry.

2.2 Employees of the Organizer, their immediate family members, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the Contest are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Requirements

3.1 To enter the Contest, participants must submit an original limerick on the Contest post on the Organizer’s Facebook page.

3.2 Each participant may submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same participant will be disqualified.

3.3 The submission period for the Contest will be from May 25, 2024, 8am PST to May 27, 2024, 12pm PST. Entries submitted after the closing date/time will not be considered.

4. Judging Criteria

4.1 Entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizer.

4.2 The judges will select winners based on creativity and content.

4.3 The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decisions.

5. Prizes

5.1 The prizes for the Contest are (2) two tickets to one of the 2024 Friday Night Party at the Oregon Renaissance Faire in Canby, OR.

5.2 Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

5.3 Winners will be notified via Facebook within (2) two days after the Contest ends. Winners must respond within (2) two days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this time frame, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

6. Prize Conditions

6.1 The tickets are only valid for the specified event date and cannot be transferred or resold.

6.2 Winners are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation, if applicable, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as part of the prize.

7. General Conditions

7.1 By entering this Contest, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7.2 The Organizer reserves the right to modify or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.

7.3 The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.

8. Liability

8.1 The Organizer is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or any unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.

8.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with this Contest.

9. Governing Law

9.1 This Contest and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Oregon, USA, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oregon, USA.
